The one word the best describes Haruka is “hysterical.” For her, there is no middle ground—everything is done to the extreme. She hates indecision and indifference. She is passionate and aggressive in a way that is almost (and probably is to most people) comically daunting. She isn’t afraid to launch into rants about her ideals and is quite bossy. Using her as the example, there probably is something wrong with being too straight-forward.
She wears all her emotions on her sleeve. If she is angry, she’ll make sure everyone knows it just as she’ll voice out her displeasure the exact moment she finds something (or someone) appalling. She is the proud enforcer of custom and rules and has high expectations for what she takes part in. She doesn’t aim for perfection—she is charging towards it and will bulldoze everything in her path with her characteristic vigor and zeal. Anyone that tries only half-assed will likely be sent flying.
Therefore it is obvious that her grades are among the best in her class. However one of her odd characteristics does bring her grade slightly down. Haruka is constantly misspelling and mispronouncing words and it’s completely obvious even though she doesn’t notice it. Therefore she usually has a couple points taken off during in-class essays. This, of course, completely frustrates her.

Haruka comes from an affluent, wealthy family. Her father is the president of a large, prosperous construction company. They, however, were not always so well off. Her radical personality likely stems from witnessing first-hand, as she was growing up, how important strength and perseverance is linked to success.
Even when she was a child she had a strong sense of justice. She often protected her best friend, Kikugawa Yukino from bullies. Yukino is perhaps one of the few people that can stand Haruka for prolonged periods of time.
